FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
OEM sourcing, technical compliance, and the commercial RFQ process — the questions procurement engineers ask before a project.
OEM Sourcing & Technical Compliance
- Can you source direct manufacturer parts from South Korean marine OEMs?
- Yes. We specialize in consolidated procurement directly from Tier-1 South Korean OEMs, including Daeyang, Kukdong, TMC, and BN BIP, matching your exact engineering line items.
- What class documentation and certifications do you provide?
- All technical spares and explosion-proof equipment can be supplied with full technical datasheets, class type approvals (DNV, ABS, LR, BV, KR), ITP support, and FAT certificates to meet strict compliance frameworks.
- Do you support hazardous area compliance for offshore platforms?
- Absolutely. Our electrical range explicitly covers IECEx, ATEX, explosion-proof lighting, marine cables, and offshore cables engineered for harsh, hazardous environments like FPSOs and drilling rigs.
Commercial & RFQ Process
- How do I submit an RFQ or Bill of Quantities (BOQ)?
- You can submit your RFQ, cable schedule, or lighting layout directly through our secure project enquiry portal, or send an email to sales@marineboys.com.au. We accept technical spreadsheets (strictly secured .xlsx formats) and .pdf files to price directly against your line items.
- Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom OEM sourcing?
- MOQs depend entirely on the specific factory requirements of the South Korean manufacturer. Our procurement specialists will flag any lead-time or volume constraints upfront during the initial BOQ review.
Still have a question?
Send your RFQ, BOQ, or cable schedule — we price against your line items with full vendor documentation and lead times, within one business day.
